nadeel dat deze cams niet zo er op kunnen worden geschroeft
een 264 kan er zo op maar met de 272 moet je extra onderdelen kopen
en is niet echt geschikt voor straat gebruik
meer voor race..
motor zal ook iets onregelmatiger gaan lopen (volgens pipercams)
Jij bedoelt shim under bucket conversie.. Er zijn gewoon mr2´s, celicas etc die gewoon met de standaard shims bovenop de buckets rijden met vergelijkbare nokkenassen.
En er is gewoon op straat mee te rijden, het is gewoon precies wat je zelf wilt. Tuurlijk zal die minder regelmatig lopen, but that comes with the package.
These 272/272 Cams for the 3SGTE have a longer duration profile for added RPM potential. They are intended for a fully built race engine designed for high revving. We reccomend having a capable ecu to tune fuel and timing when using these cams. They are excellent for engines that need the meat of their powerband to be in the higher rpm range like big turbo setups. Aftermarket Valvesprings and Retainers are requried for this cam as the increased lift and duration could exceed the design limitations of the stock valvetrain and lead to failure. This Cam is perfect for those looking to make big power in their race motor. This cam would be best suited in a built race engine with high compression pistons. They will raise the powerband up to where a high compression engine can use it most efficiently. They do not sacrifice drivability. These can be used on a street car but we do suggest installing upgraded valvesprings, retainers, valves, and cam gears when using these cams.
